CLAIM EXAMPLES

A cargo ship owned by your client’s logistics company capsizes due to bad weather enroute to its destination country. Thousands of cars in cargo are lost and several crew members on board perished in the incident. The cost of the disaster, including victims’ compensation, refloating, towing, and scrapping amounts to $20 million in damages, which the company is liable for.

A well-known logistics company has its systems hacked by a malicious ransomware resulting in the inability to process and track hundreds of goods enroute. This incident has caused an infinite delay in delivery, leaving the company’s big contractors to fend off disgruntled customers and ultimately affecting their trust in the logistics company.

A worker at your client’s transport company has been injured after a colleague accidentally reverses into him with a forklift. The worker suffers a fractured leg and your client’s company has been charged with a $100,000 fine. The company is also ordered to pay a penalty of $7000 for not having a safe work management system in place.
